Sketchcard Gallery Update: Marvel Greatest Battles

   Now that the Marvel Greatest Battles set has been released and I've found a few minutes to post some pics, I've got (almost) all of my 9-case incentive cards now posted in my Sketchcard Gallery. They are all full color 4-card puzzles and they were all released uncut. Most have 2 figures with a "Comic page" background, but a few had more characters and needed more room... they got a regular background. 

 If the 2 Secret Wars Sketchcards look familiar, I did 2 very similar Sketches for the Bronze Age release and got a very good response. These were done due to popular demand and because I heard a few "complaints" that they were hard to get, so I did these new ones to give a few more chances, just a bit updated and I fixed little things that bothered me about the first set.

Marvel Bronze Age Sketches Posted.

The Marvel The Bronze Age set from Rittenhouse Archives is now officially released and I've posted all my Sketches over in my Sketchcard Galleries page. All 43 full color sketches that are in-box pack inserted and all 196 "Bronze" color 6 - case incentive sketches. I've also uploaded the 25 two-card "Bronze" colored puzzles that were rondomly inserted into hot boxes. (And possibly regular boxes, not sure on that one) 

FAQ: Artists Proof availability? Sorry, although I am getting some AP's for this set, I just don't have the time to get to any. If I do dig up a little time, I will post everywhere about it and make them available.

Marvel Bronze Age Promo Detail

 I just thought I would post a better pic, one that you could actually see, of the Spider-man artwork used on the back of the Marvel Bronze Age promo cards. This was actually the first card I drew for the set and probably took more time on it than I should, but one has to warm up some how.

I've begun posting Images of my Bronze Age Cards over in the Sketch Card Galleries. I've got over 30 pages to post, so be patient, I'll get them all up soon.

New Job? You bet.

 There have been many changes around here recently, a lot of cool new stuff happening I can't wait to talk about, and plenty of things to keep me extra busy and (semi-) out of trouble.  Of all the things going on, the one I'm most excited to announce is the new position I've accepted at Rittenhouse Archives. Rittenhouse is one of the top Entertainment Trading Card companies in the world and I'm honored to be joining their team.

  Among various job requirements, I'll be in charge of finding new talent, bringing in new artists and working with the artists we already have helping them to evolve their work and expand their contribution to future sets. Also, you will probably be seeing me at more conventions, which is a good thing… I really need to get out of the studio more. And don't worry, I'll still be drawing my share of Sketch Cards. There are so many ideas and techniques I can't wait to dive into on upcoming sets to keep both the fans and myself entertained.

  I'm looking forward to getting settled in over the next few weeks and to get some balls rolling.

Marvel Greatest Heroes Scans

As promised, I've begun posting the scans of all my  Marvel Greatest Hero cards. Not being in the mood to blow my wad all in one shot, I've decided to release 2 -3 pages a day until the official release next week.

I now have all 17 pages in my Marvel Greatest Heroes Sketch Card Gallery posted.
