Casual Friday #26

Seems I need to repost this as for some reason,  the last post got wiped out completely with no sign of it anywhere. ..I don't know.

So here are the Turtles again...

The Return Of Casual Friday! (#25)

Yes, it's the return of Casual Friday's. It's been awhile and I've finally tripped across a Friday where I don't have 13 other things to do. Today there's just 4 or 5 other projects I should be working on.

I have a short list of requests for Casual Friday's and this Spider-man is the first one from it. And to answer another question, no... at this point none of these Friday Drawings are for sale. Sorry.

Here's Spidey.

Casual Friday #24 / 2nd Anniversary

I just noticed the other day that this week is the second anniversary of The Scribbler.  So, I thought I'd do a Casual Friday just for the occasion.
Not sure what I'm saying with this piece, it was the first thing that came to mind.

It's tentatively titled:
"Happy 2nd, bub."

But a few more seem to be coming to mind...
"Can't believe your still at it."
"Happy 2 years. Here, pick which one I liked better."
"Good thing you didn't draw me after only one year."

...any more?

Casual Friday #23

Ok, I actually started this piece awhile ago and had it roughed out and laying on my desk for a few weeks. I'm just starting a cover for the next comic I'm penciling (more on that later) and I thought a little warm up before I started was in order. So out comes this character sketch and I sent the graphite flowing. I spent a bit more time on this than my usual Friday sketch but I just got lost in the picture. Before I knew it, it was a few hours later.
I'm all warmed up now though. SO that's a good thing.

Casual Friday #22

Due to one of those "I just can't get to sleep nights" I had the chance a few days ago to catch Reign Of Fire again on one of the late night movie channels. It had been awhile since I saw it and I remembered just how much I actually liked it and how long it's been since I drew one of my favorite subjects... Dragons.

I've been pretty busy lately and I know my mind has needed a break as well as some exercise. So I put the script, comic pages, and commissions aside and went ahead with a long overdue Casual Friday.

I've always dreamed of doing a series of drawings or prints with Dragons and this has gotten the ol' juices flowing again. I would love to sit down and really figure out and design what I would think the anatomy and look of what Dragons would be. So I can add this to the list of all the things I want to do and don't have time for.
I call this one, "Villiage Aflame"
